Our Story

How We Started

Burelomia Ltd wasn't founded in a boardroom — it came from watching seniors discover nature on their own terms. We noticed that Ireland's most stunning natural spaces often felt inaccessible. Steep paths, poor signage, and lack of information meant many people simply gave up. In 2018, we decided to change that at Lough Boora.

We've spent the last six years learning what works. Easy boardwalk trails. Detailed guides for wildlife watching. Clear information about accessibility. We've partnered with local conservation groups, worked with accessibility experts, and listened to hundreds of visitors. What we've built isn't fancy — it's thoughtful.

Today, we're proud that seniors and families visit Lough Boora every week to walk the peatland trails, spot owls, and experience the sculpture installations. They're not just seeing nature — they're actually enjoying it without stress or struggle.

Easy Boardwalk Trails

Smooth, flat paths through peatland. No stairs. No obstacles. Just you, the landscape, and fresh air. Most visitors complete sections in 30-60 minutes.
